# Redeeming evUSD: Convert Trading Collateral Back to USDC

> Redeem evUSD to USDC on Everstrike. Usually instant, up to 24 hours max. Flat 0.1 USD fee, no execution costs — more predictable than trading spot markets.

Redemption is Everstrike's built-in mechanism for converting evUSD back into USDC. When you are ready to withdraw funds from DEX mode, redeeming gives you a predictable, low-cost way to obtain withdrawable USDC without needing to execute a spot trade. Most redemptions complete in under a minute.

## How to Redeem

To start a redemption, you must have at least **0.2 evUSD** in your account and a confirmed primary wallet connected to Everstrike.

    Click **Redeem** next to the evUSD row in your portfolio.

    Enter the amount of evUSD you want to convert to USDC, then confirm. You will receive USDC to your primary wallet once the redemption processes.

## Timing

Most redemptions complete in **under one minute**. In some circumstances, a redemption may take up to **24 hours**. No action is required on your part while you wait — Everstrike processes redemptions automatically.

## Fees

Each redemption carries a flat fee of **0.1 USD**. There are no execution costs, slippage, or market-impact charges. This makes redemptions more cost-predictable than trading evUSD for USDC on spot markets.

## Supported Assets

Currently, redemptions support **evUSD → USDC** conversions only. Support for evUSD → USDT and evUSD → DAI conversions is planned for a future release.

## Alternatives

If you prefer not to redeem directly, you have two alternatives:

* **Spot trading** — Sell evUSD for USDC (or another stablecoin) using the USD/USDC spot market on Everstrike.
* **CEX mode** — In [CEX mode](/account/cex-mode), you can withdraw directly in USDT, USDC, BUSD, or DAI without a separate redemption step.
