evUSD is the native stablecoin and collateral asset of Everstrike. All positions on Everstrike are margined and priced in evUSD, making it the single currency you need to trade spot, perpetual futures, and perpetual options across the platform.

Acquiring evUSD

You can obtain evUSD through three routes:
  • Minting — Convert staked USDC into evUSD using Everstrike’s built-in mint functionality. This is the primary DEX mode path.
  • Trading — Buy evUSD with USDC (or another supported stablecoin) through Everstrike’s USDT/USD spot market.
  • CEX mode deposit — Deposit a supported stablecoin in CEX mode. Everstrike automatically converts the deposit to evUSD upon successful confirmation.

Disposing of evUSD

When you are ready to exit, convert evUSD back to a stablecoin through one of three routes:
  • Redemption — Convert evUSD to USDC directly using Everstrike’s built-in redeem functionality. Predictable fees, no execution costs.
  • Trading — Sell evUSD for USDT through the USDT/USD spot market.
  • CEX mode withdrawal — Withdraw in CEX mode. Everstrike supports evUSD withdrawals in USDT, USDC, BUSD, or DAI.

evUSD as Unit of Account

All prices on Everstrike are quoted in evUSD. Position values and account equity values are likewise denominated in evUSD.
“evUSD” and “USD” are used interchangeably in the Everstrike Frontend UI for simplicity. Wherever you see “USD” displayed in the interface, it always refers to evUSD — not to US dollars held off-platform.

Perpetual Vault

evUSD powers the Everstrike Perpetual Vault. As an evUSD holder, you automatically receive monthly vault distributions without any manual staking or claiming steps required. Read more on the Perpetual Vault page.
