Your primary wallet is the blockchain address that connects your Everstrike account to DEX mode. Once you confirm it, you can deposit, withdraw, stake, redeem, and mint. Transfers between Everstrike Smart Contracts and your primary wallet are near-instant.

What Is a Primary Wallet?

A wallet is a blockchain address controlled through credentials such as a private key or recovery phrase. Wallet software like MetaMask and Phantom lets you interact with it. Your primary wallet links your Everstrike account to DEX mode and unlocks the full self-custody flow: deposits, withdrawals, staking, minting, and redemptions all route through this address.
Each Everstrike account supports exactly one primary wallet. Only connect a wallet whose credentials you fully control. If you use CEX mode, Everstrike manages the wallet on your behalf and you do not need to register a primary wallet.

Setting Your Primary Wallet

Connect your wallet

Open the Everstrike app and connect your wallet using the wallet selector. Choose the address you want to use permanently with this account.

Everstrike prepares the ownership message

Everstrike generates a unique ownership message that includes your account ID. Review the wallet address and account ID shown on screen to confirm they are correct.

Sign the message in your wallet

Approve the signing request in your wallet software. The message uses the following format:

Everstrike publishes to the blockchain

Everstrike submits the signed message to the blockchain, proving that you control the wallet and recording it as your permanent primary wallet.

Important Restrictions

You cannot change a confirmed primary wallet. Once set, the association between your wallet address and your Everstrike account is permanent. If you need to use a different wallet address, create a new Everstrike account with a different email address.
Back up your wallet credentials before using DEX mode. Store your private key or recovery phrase securely and offline. Everstrike Support cannot recover access to a wallet you no longer control.

Is It Safe to Sign?

Yes — if you verify the message format before signing. The ownership message proves that you control the wallet. It does not authorize any asset transfers. Compare the message your wallet is asking you to sign against the expected format:
Confirm that your unique account ID appears correctly in the message. Never sign a message you do not understand or that differs from this format.
